Dr. A. Nagappan is a Professor with 34 years of teaching and administrative experience in one institution and 3 years of administrative experience in the University. He served as the former Principal of Vinayaka Mission's Kirupananda Variyar Engineering College, Salem, from 2008 to 2021, demonstrating exceptional leadership and commitment to technical education.
A highly qualified and efficient technical faculty member, Dr. Nagappan possesses sound knowledge in various Engineering-related subjects for B.E/B.Tech and M.E, including Signals and Systems, Circuit Theory, Digital Image Processing, Bio-Medical Engineering, Digital Signal Processing, Wavelet Transforms & Applications, and Bio-Medical Instrumentation. His multidisciplinary expertise bridges core engineering and emerging biomedical fields.
Dr. Nagappan brings excellent experience in Policy Planning in Education, Curriculum Development, Human Resource Management, Innovative Design of Motivational Techniques, and Resource Management. An efficient Team Leader with outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, he has successfully conducted events such as seminars, symposiums, conferences, workshops, and training programs.
